Poem # 26: Knots

Not nautical speed but
the tangling
not mere tangles but artful
turnings
not turnings but
something like
writing all on the same
spot: the knot.

Another light one; I'm getting tired!

But I like the language play. Perhaps I can find a pattern to develop here in a series of vignettes; knots seem symbolically charged, to me: a craft, like writing; deceptively simple.

Robert, noticed your poem and the effect it had on my memory of Celtic patterns in stone, knots, and masonry. Your precise words brought back these vivid images. Nicely done.
